The Hamar Support and Information Centre is well worth a visit. It is located in the hospital grounds and open Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm

It provides support and counseling, alternative therapies and general information to people with cancer and other serious illnesses. It also has a garden to relax in should you have some time to spare before or after treatment.

We have a range of booklets, leaflets and files of information. This may be useful for helping people understand more about cancer and different treatments and about some other illnesses, other services available and people who can help, how to access and make best use of them, holiday insurance advice and so on. A computer is also available to access information from the internet .
